i am wanting to know if anyone has loaded the 150 grn ttsx bullets for 30-06, and if so are there any of the rings showing above the case mouth, i am just wanting to know if that is normal or not or if it does not really matter. Thanks

Don't be overly concerned about where the relief rings are situated. They don't really help in gauging seating depth. Make your measurement consistent and specific to the rifle you are loading.

I wouldn't worry about the rings either. Set them back off the lands and have at it. Let the rings lie where they will! Scotty

When using tsx bullets I have found my best accuracy with bullets seated to a depth where the top ring of the bullet is setting right at the case mouth, top ring barely visable. Other than that the rings being visable or not really does not matter as the guys have stated.

i don't worry about where the rings are. I seat them .050" off the lands to give some "jump" like barnes recomends and I get sub MOA everytime.

I have loaded for every center fire rifle I own and for family and I seat them all to the last grove showing and give a light crimp, have not had one not able to shoot sub 1" groups yet.

As all above, just seat to your rifle's "sweet spot". I use nothing but TTSx and TSX in all of my big game rifles(sorry Nosler). I've NEVER had an animal go over 2 feet after getting hit. I do have some accubonds for my 338 Federal though..Great bullet.
