Barrel Length for 9.3x62

I am in the planning stages of building a DG rifle in 9.3x62 and need your thoughts on barrel length. This will be built on a Charles Daly LH action, either a Douglas or Shilen barrel and a black laminate stock. What are your suggestions? Thanks

I have a steyr MS in 9.3x62 with a 20" barrell. With 250gr Nolser BT, 250gr BarnesX and 270 Speer hotcores, velocities are 2200-2300 fps. I haven't tried the 286 Nosler Partitions yet. I think 9.3x62 is similiar to the 35 Whelen in that it is best suited with 22"-24" barrell. If I was building one I would probaly opt for a 24" barrell. Just my opinion. Good luck with the project.
