I have a small ring Mauser that was chambered in 7x57. It shot fine but after taking to be re- blued I could never get it to shot straight again. Tried a couple different scopes which I tried on other rifles with no problems. My question is can I change the barrel myself?

I saw something on this recently it appears to not be a simple process, takes quite a bit to get the old barrel out. Good luck

Check the bedding. The action screws be tightened right. Loosen the screws stand the gun on the butt stock tighten the front screw first.

Prefit barrels for Mausers dont exist because the consistence isnt there from action to action. There are some short chambered barrels around for Mausers and you can rent a reamer + headspace gauge and finish ream it yourself but you need a action wrench and barrel vice to do it all.
