Barron Co Learn to Hunt

Well tomorrow morning we start. We have 24 kids going on their first turkey hunt ever. It is going to be tough with 12-16" of snow on the ground. I have a field where there have been birds feeding for the past few weeks. I hope my young guy can get a bird tomorrow.

It will be hard to get them to fly off the roost with that much snow. However, I hope that the kids have fun anyhow and at least see some birds flying around off the roost trees. Feeding them beforehand certainly should increase the odds. Good luck!
