ON MY PROJECTS IVE ALWAYS USED ACRAGLASS GEL WITH GREAT SUCCESS.- IM THINKING ON MY NEXT PRJECT USE DEVCON 10-110
PLASTIC STEEL AS BEDDING COMPOUND, AND KIWI POLISH SHOE NEUTRAL AS RELEASE AGENT.
IS THERE SOMEONE WHO HAS EVER USED DEVCON 10-110 AS BEDDING COMPOUND??WHAT DO YOU THINK ABOUT IT??
ANY COMMENTS WILL BE APPRECIATED,
HPPY NEW YEAR.

I have used devcon bedding on a number of occasions with great success from the bedding perspective but a few words of caution.

One make sure you seal off all holes or depressions in the action before you start to make a match. If you dont you will end up not being able to get them to seperate. I know as I broke a Remington 700 stock trying to do just that.

Secondly make sure the release agent works (try it in advance) as it will be impossible to break the bond if it is not up to the job. Again I know this from past experience but thankfully not on a rifle.

Thirdly if the Devcon is the same one I used it has metal in it. If you live in a climate like Ireland (the home of the rain) it will assist in rusting if not cleaned occasionaly.

Apart from that it works perfectly for me. I would be glad to hear other views though

Happy New Year

IVE JUST FINISHED BEDDING MY SAVAGE 111 WITH THE DEVCON STEEL PUTTY-FOR SURE ITS STAYS PUT AND EASY TO APPLY. I USED KIWI SHOE POLISH AS A RELEASE AGENT AND FOR SURE WORKED REALLY GOOD. IVE HAD A LIL MORE TROUBLE WITH ACRAGLASS THAN WITH THIS STUFF- I THINK ITS MY BEDDING AGENT SINCE NOW- LETS SEE WITH THE TIME HOW IT STANDS UP.
