Anybody have a fix to the bipod “boing” sound? Similar to a kid flipping a spring doorstop. When you have your ear muffs and a good check weld, it’s resonates in your head . Just an annoyance, doesn’t effect performance. It’s a Caldwell bipod. I’ve heard of people feeding a cotton cord down through the springs.

Howie I would measure the spring diameter and get a piece of rubber hose with about the same inside diameter. Cut it down one side and slide it over the spring. If it's not a problem getting the spring off 1 side unhook it and slide the hose over without cutting it.

Actually Howie you could probably slide the piece on the leg down a little. Make a loop with a shoe lace so you can stretch the spring and slide the piece on the leg down a little.

That did it! Slid surgical tubing over the springs and the “Boing” is no more. Thanks 👍
