OK since the Ruger #1 syndrome is in remission, I my WBY syndrome is in its Zenith!

Currently have

416 WBY ClassicMark
378 WBY 5 Panel Lazermark
270 WBY SS/Synthetic

coming this week

257 WBY Ultralightweight
30-378 WBY Accumark.

What a sicko!

Fotis,

You got stung by a bee and now you are going to have the bee hive in the safe.

Congratulations buddy on another fine collection.

Me too Scottie.

80 gr TTSX at 3900 fps!
smokinnnnnnnnnnnnnnnn!

Fotis - are you going to at least going to keep this collection for more than a month or two?

I've been giving strong consideration to rebarreling my Win Mod 70 featherweight into a 257 WBY. It is a 30-06 right now that is a 1.5 - 2" gun right now (it is one of the last New Haven rifles and quality is probably crap on the barrel) and the action has been bedded.

Scott,
I hope to keep it for at least a couple of weeks!

The winnie would be a good candidate for the 257 super sting Bee.!

Nice! One day I'm gonna complete my Weatherby collection. I would like wood MK Vs in .257, 7mm, .300, .340, and .375.

As you know from the 'fire, I just traded into a Vangard in 257 Roy. Very cool. Far from being bitten by the bug; this is my first ever belted magnum, and the 325 WSM I traded for it was my first ever magnum.

I'm looking forward to hearing how the Bees treat you!

Fotis, I noticed that you showed up on the Weatherby Rifle Forum. I guess that you have earned membership there by now! I still only have one Weatherby Mark V (.340). I got the bug for a Deluxe but have fought it off so far.

Keep up the good work Pop, The ultra lights are expensive but NIIIIICE. I'm wishing Wby made a 264. 8)

True Greg they do not, although it would be a nice addition for sure.

I opted for the 257 120 at 3300 fps pretty close to a 264.
My 270 Bee did 3285 fps with a medium load using the 140 AB; somewhat better than a 264. Shot under 3/4" so I am happy.

I know it is a very big overlap between my 270WSM and the 264WM, but they both are sweet cartridges. I think, I might get close to the high 3100's to low 3200's with the 264WM. 130's are really kicking with Retumbo in the 264WM. I have a new found respect for Retumbo in these overbores. It really seems to click as the pressures build to operating levels. Scotty

Ok Here are the pictures.
