Black Bear Hunt

Since I didn't draw any tags this year I sent off for a Montana Black Bear tag for the fall, can't wait too hit the mountains in late Sept or early Oct!

I'm doing a spot and stalk hunt, I'm going too be in bear unit 107 in the Bob Marshall Wildernees and would like too spend a couple days on unit 520 in the Absaroka Beartooth Wilderness depending on how things go.

I went backpacking in the Absaroka Beartooth Wilderness about fifteen years ago and swore I would get back there to do some hunting but have yet to do it (what a wife and kids will do to a guy).

They have a quota on the number of bears that can be taken in the Absaroka Beartooth Wilderness and will probably be filled by the time I get out there.
