Blaser rifles?

I have a Blaser R-93 in 300 weatherby and I love it. With respect to a misfire make sure the bolt handle is completely forward. When I first got mine I noticed that it was possible for the bolt to not be all the way forward, and this would cause a misfire. Once I figured this out and made sure the bolt was completely closed/forward, it has worked like a charm ever since.

I made sure the action/bolt was completely slammed forward. That couldn't have been the problem. Do you shoot reloads in yours? I contacted Blaser and they immediatly sent me a call tag to send it into them. My rifle is in 7mm Rem Mag and I loaded some Accubonds in 140 grain with 65.5gr of Rl22 and the two shots that I was able to fire were in the same hole. This rifle is extremely accurate and it doesn't spread groups after the barrel gets hot. like my others? The only problem is, is it gonna fire? I am planning a trip to Africa next May and I don't need these kind of problems. I hope everthing goes well. I'll keep you informed on the outcome from Blaser and thanks for the response.. Do you have any other barrels/calibers for yours? Thanks Jason

That was my only suggestion. I wish it would have been more helpful. I have found the people at Baser to be very helpful, and I am sure they will make it shoot. A couple years ago, there was a recall on some Blaser's (mine being one of them) and they sent me a postage paid return box. The turnaround time was about 10 days, which to me seemed to be really fast, as that included shipping time going there and coming back. My friend has one in a 30-06, and like you we have found them to be very accurate. Good luck, and please do keep us informed.
