boss cap for a Abolt

I have a browning abolt 7mag with a boss I have a load that shots realy well with the boss off .Do any of you guys no if they make a cap to cover up the threads on the end of the barrel

I don't know, but you can buy the BOSS-CR (conventional recoil) if the extra muzzle blast is a problem for you.

no the rifle just hold better with out the boss

Should be a simple matter for a decent machine shop to make you a cap for you out of moly or stainless, whichever matches your rifle, and thread it to fit. Probably wouldn't cost you much, as they could use round stock, and just set it up on the lathe or milling machine to drill it out, then thread it properly. If you have a drill press and can get access to the proper tap, you can do it yourself.
