...I've had 3 Brownings, all A-Bolts, out of the box accuracy was MOA on all three, definitely comparable to Savage, when you get down to comparing fit, finish, & configurations a Mod.70 or 700 w/ the same features would cost you considerably more. I like 60* bolt throws. I don't like some of the X-Bolt features, mostly the mag & cut-outs, but they're still making A-Bolts. The LGS has 3 Medallion Grade A-Bolts in .25-06, .270 WSM, & .308, all w/ 26" barrels for $600, so I think that w/ a little shopping, prices are pretty equitable. I've got a Tikka, too, & I think the DuraStock on the Browning is better than the factory stocks on it, the Mod. 70, or 700. When you start comparing apples to apples, prices on the Brownings aren't that much more...
