Buck from this morning

Congrats! Fabulous looking specimen! What's the green stuff he was feeding on called?

Very nice.

Nice Buck!! Okay......tell the tale.... :) CL

Sorry, just re read your post. Sympathies for your loss. That is indeed a fine way to honor your friend. No more needs to be said. CL

Great buck and fantastic honor to your friend. It is weird seeing green in pictures this time of year to those of us in Montana!

Roy,

Well done sir. The 264 speaks with authority.

That is a fine buck and should make some great table fare this winter. Honouring your friend by using his 264 is very special. Thank you for sharing the photos.

Blessings,
Dan

Love those 264 Win mags. My brother had one 20 years ago and it always seemed to just level deer. I bet that 130 AccuBond is a hammer indeed. Well done.

Glad you guys like it. That 130 absolutely hammers deer. i have killed a few on the wrong side of 400 yards and it just dumps them. I am sure Richard is smiling seeing his rifle put top good use. 1,000,000.00 wont buy that rifle.
Here it is with its Unertl scope. Its a death ray.

That's a nice rig reflex. Real similar to my brothers. His was a Herter's, built on a military Mauser action with a Weatherby-like stock. For what he traded it for, I sure wish I had bought it. Hang on to yours.

Very nice looking rifle, it truly is a very capable calibre.
Thank you for posting.

Blessings,
Dan

This deer was 8 years old. We knew him and had about decided he couldn't be killed.
