Something bittersweet about using an old friends rifle, load or other equipment for a successful hunt...its great for memories and soul satisfaction. Glad you could be there to enjoy this...I have a living friend who has used a Mod 700 .264WM I told him about back in the late 70's, bought it from another friend for $150! he and now, his three sons have killed just 'some" deer and hogs in Texas with it!
