I got these pics from a friend in the Manitoba and MInnesota/ND border country. Story goes that a lady seen them before the season opened @ 11 and waited till it did, made her shot and then called the game warden to obtain persmission to keep both.

No idea if the story was true, but good pictures.

ANybody else see this sort of thing or have pictures???
Be curious to see how often it does.

Many years ago my Dad and his boss were on a hunting trip at the Kings Ranch in south Texas. The rut was going on and they found two bucks fighting. They timed their shots and the bucks hit the ground locked up. They had them mounted that way and they hung in the boss's office for a lot of years.
I don't know happened to them, i wish i could find them.

In the 90's I was hunting in the ESCALERA Ranch 50Mi S of the border
of Laredo, It was late Dec.- I was traveling in the roads of the ranch at about 6.00pm and we spoted a nice 10pointer. I decided to take him with my 300 Jarrett using 165 N Ballistic Tips. At the shot the buck felled down but another buck a lil larger started fighting with my felled buck- they locked their antlers- we arrived at the scene and my partner nor I didnt
know what to do- a very dead deer and a veryvery agresive deer locked together. the minutes passed about 15 and the deer were still locked together, the live one trying to unlock, these deer were 2.5k deers.-
In an instant I dont know what the live deer did but separated from my dead dear.- Sorry I didnt had my video handy, that dosent happens everyday-
It was nice it separated it would have cost a lil more 2.5k,hihi.
during the fight my deer broke a point.
A lil later I will post a pic of the deer.
