I'd thought i would post this for any 45-70 hunters...it's good ammo for sure...but so is the 300gr Trophy bonded Bear Claw from federal...Lou :wink:

Just as I thought.
The Buffalo Bore ammo in Canada story is just bull processed hay.
Not a single round of legally imported Buffalo Bore ammo in the Dominion of Canada.
Canadians don't hold your breath waiting for Buffalo Bore ammo.
Buy a press, some components and a good reloading manual and make your own.
You can't go wrong with Nosler Partition or AccuBond bullets.
I load a lot of them and get 1 shot kills more often than not.
A lot cheaper than paying $60 - $80 a box for Buffalo Bore.

Canadians should be able to buy directly from US suppliers like they could before 9/11.
Hunters and sports shooters were never a danger to US national security.
Too bad the federal government, Clinton, Obama and BATFE brought what were really a bunch of anti gun restrictions in under a national security banner.

I take it you're a dual citizen USA/CDN like me.
It wasn't constitutionally possible for GW to run a third time.
GW is a lot better than what we've got now.
Obama will gut 2A and sell out the sovereignty of the USA to the UN if he gets a 2nd term by ratifying the ATT agreement.
Make no mistake about that.

It's a load of BS.

Canadians:
Don't get caught smuggling ammo out of the US without a Department of State export permit.
Big fines and permanent lifetime banning from visiting the US will follow.

Hey there everyone, got wind of this forum from one of our distributors and thought we'd come by,check it out and put the Buffalo Bore rumours to rest. The OP has it right guys and girls. Buffalo Bore is coming to Canada, however, at this moment in time SCDS Ammo / Sterling Cross Defense Systems has been asked by * Natural Resources Canada * for additional calibers of ammunition for testing. This is normal when bringing anything "new" into the market, but it does take time. We have sent 5 various calibers but are awaiting the green light. This is extremely costly to a company and time consuming as we have been waiting for over a year for this product to be approved. I cannot give a specific date at this moment in time but can reassure you all that it will be available in Canada in the near future from Us. Thanks for your patience during this waiting period.

Since I started reloading I haven't bought any factory ammo and don't look to unless it's for my defensive armament.
Sit down at the press and replicate a Buffalo Bore load for your rifle.
