Hello fella's!
A buddy of mine managed to draw a Rocky Mountain Bighorn Sheep tag here in CO this year and called to have me make a decent variety of range cards for him to use on the hunt and practice with prior to the hunt. I'm more than happy to do it for him! However, I asked what load he was using and he said "Federal .300 Win. Mag. 180 grain 'Classic' Soft points". I am not sure what bullet is actually loaded in this load by Federal, I think it is a Speer bullet of some sort, but, I not 100% though. I have a data base of nearly every bullet made with their BC's, SD's, OAL, etc. I'm hoping one of you kind gentleman may know exactly what bullet is loaded in this round.
Thank you in advance!
P.S. I will ask for pictures and a short write up from my buddy after the hunt and post them! He is trying to top his cover story of Eastman's Hunting Journal from his Father's mountain goat hunt with his own animal.
