Bullet vote please

I would go with the AB. My Rem. 7400 smears the bullet tip on chambering.
Frankly at 165yds the bullet tip won't make any difference & for this kind of range I'd probably use the Partition. However, it doesn't make much difference as both bullets are very similar (Expanding) on impact.
 
Use whatever shoots best, they'll both hammer deer. Accubonds readily expand even on smaller game, I've used them on Bobcats and coyotes & they expanded perfectly. Check the Nosler website for factory seconds & blems. That's all I buy anymore because of the savings. They perform perfectly as well. Accubonds are essentially a tipped Partition in performance. Similar expansion and weight retention. I wouldn't hesitate to use either on Bobcats to elk. Also Ballistic Tips are a good bit tougher than they used to be. That being said, I prefer Accubonds and Partitions.
