Why are Canadians not rising up and repelling this gun buyback?

I know what I would do if an agent of the government attempted to steal my property. Why aren’t Canadians rising and telling your government, “No.”

Curious as to the mindset that allows this subjugation and tyranny.

Because there is no constitutional protection of gun rights in Canada.
I would hope there are a lot of Canadians who “can’t find” their guns to turn them in.
Do you see anyone rising up in Massachusetts or Connecticut or California?

I got a dude quite angry with me when I compared Someone in the British Commonwealth of nations as a SUBJECT rather than a CITIZEN. The problem as I see it even here is people are growing more like sheep (subjects) to dot gov than as citizens with rights.
I think this is more prevalent in the Commonwealth countries as subjects to the crown.
As Vince asked, "Why aren’t Canadians rising and telling your government, “No.”

Those that voted Conservative did just that...
Unfortunately, those of liberal and new democratic mindsets outnumbered the conservative voters.

Here in Canada, approximately 1 million gun owners out of a population of over 40 million.

Canada needs its own version of Charlie Kirk to teach them the errors in liberal ideaology and stop the brain washing our youth gets in schools. Giving up freedoms because they think the goverment will protect you is one of those errors. Another is its all about me, me me me. If it doesnt effect you then you dont care if the government takes something away. It should be do unto others as others do unto you. There will always be something you care about that millions of others dont. Think about that the next time a government wants to take something away from someone else that you dont care about. Getting rights or freedoms back after the government takes them rarely happens without a government overthrow.
