Tikka t3 varmint 22-250 likes 34.2g varget 52 bergers win brass CCI br2. Im wondering now that I have some Lapua brass on the way to keep things more consistent, how I go about finding the sweet spot again. Will it be close to the old grain powder or do you veteran reloaders start from scratch again? Im using all new lot components.

Measure your H20 capacity of the two FIRED cases. I'd probably measure 3-5 of each and take an average. If the Lapua shows more capacity, you made need a little more powder, if it shows a little less you may need to drop down a little.

Good luck and that's a great shooting 22-250...

Just sharing what mine measure- My once fired win cases measure 44.9 and my lapua's measure 45.1. Average of 20 cases each.
