Chicago Firearms Registry closes???

G'Day Fella's,

I just read on an article on an Australian based firearm web site- http:/www.sportingshootersmag.com.au that the city of Chicago has shut it's firearms registry?
Apparently, after many decades in operation, the local government finally worked out that CRIMINALS don't actually register their guns!!!
Well Doh, I could have told them that!

I'd be suspicious of such a story... I didn't think Chicago was smart enough to figure something like that out!
