I like to clean my dies every winter. What do you use for a cleaner if/when you clean your reloading dies?

I use a wooden dowel and a large patch wetted with Hoppes No. 9. After a thorough wipe down, I use a dry patch. If further cleaning needs to be performed, I use brake cleaner or Birchwood Casey Gun Scrubber.

I have used a small amount of Iosso on a bore brush chucked in a drill to remove any scratches. A good brake cleaner bath afterwards.

Most any bore-cleaner fluid soaked into a snug fitting cotton patch, then a dry one. Has worked for about 60 years or so on my older dies. All dies are pulled apart and cleaned once a year.
