Colorado ‘21

Just got back from Colorado. What a beautiful setting to hunt mule deer! I shot my buck at 165 yards with my 270 win using 150 gr. Ballistic tip handloads.

Bullet was a complete pass thru and left a quarter sized exit. The buck trotted about 10 yards and dropped.

We went 3 for 3 on mule deer and 1 bull elk.

Can’t wait to go back in the near future.

I too just came back from Colorado Elk hunting. No luck there but I did see 4 bucks in that size range one with kickers out the side for 5 points a side. I also noticed they were very tall and not as wide as other places.
I was hunting buy Pagosa Springs.
Nice Buck as I would have shot any of them with a tag as well.
