Hi! My name is Greg.
I'm a Shootaholic.
My family discovered at an early age that all I wanted to do was shoot guns. Even my Mommy called me "Gun crazy" It hurt
Now, as I stand on the threshold of 61.5 years of age I am remorse of the fact that I can't play golf or cards or collect stamps like normal people. I have a passion for rifles and pistols. Alas I am hopelessly lost ing my obsession.
OK so much for the B.S. I am looking for a used or new 358. nitis, don't laugh. Is there a 358 Norma in the house?
I am reaching out to my mentor JDMAG to see if there is one in his circle of friends.
Greg

Nice to have you with us, Greg. Just confess your addiction and enjoy feeding it. 358s rock!

Consequently, I've always wondered whether there was a name for this madness.

You're always there with an acute medical analysis of the situation. Am I hopeless or is there an 358 antigen in my prognosis?
You are the ultimate source for real time hunting and shooting info.
Do you think the 350 Ultramag or 350 Boss is the answer?
Greg.

Hi! My name is JD338 and I'm a Shootaholic.

350 RUM with a 250 gr PT at 3000 fps with 5000 fpe should ease your addiction.....for a while.

Greg,

I'm uncertain how to phrase this so that it is not overly distressing; but, there is no cure for what you have. I advise your loved ones to assist you to hold stress to a minimum. To hold adverse symptoms to a minimum, acquire rifles chambered in new calibres and cartridges as often as you are able. Good used rifles are acceptable, even in old familiar cartridges. Make frequent trips to the range, hopefully cradling a new rifle for which you have worked up numerous loads. Take the grandchildren shooting, or introduce a young friend to the joys of riflery. Make every effort to ensure that your days are filled with joy. Honour God and be a man of character. There isn't much else that I can offer.

(Poor fellow, he has it bad. I can only hope that others haven't been infected with the same malady. There is a lot of this going around! Oh, dear, now JD338! It is a veritable epidemic!)

Hi, I'm Rich and I'm a shootaholic!!!!

I have not bought a gun in 8 months. I thought I'd be cured of this when buying the last rifle of my RUM collection, the 375RUM. I was wrong, as I have the desire again to buy yet another gun. It's all I can do to not buy any more as some would think 12 rifles (10 centerfires & 2 muzzleloaders) is more than enough.

What does your BMG weigh? I know Idaho has a maximum weight limit for a hunting rifle, which, I believe excludes the 50BMG rifles.

Hi, my name is Longwinters and I am a closet shootaholic. I shoot just enough to maintain a slight buzz and warm eufora in my daily lifestyle.

As of now I only need to shoot the small to medium calibers to keep my nerves steady but I can see, from those of you who have already responded, that the law of diminishing returns will ultimately drive me to the big guns.

Long,

May I suggest you pour yourself a tall glass of chocolate milk and read the intros to the RUM's in the Nosler RG #6.

You will be out of the closet and on board soon.

One of the 50's weights about 45lbs and the other about 28lbs. They are not something I want to haul up and down any hills or even flat land for very far. But they would work well from a stand where legal.
I would not need a 750gr AB. I think a 600 or 647gr AB at 3000+FPS would do the job nicely. Maybe a 750 for the big stuff.............
