That is neat. A guy could keep it as a .22 LR most of the time, practicing for pennies, then swap to the .17 HMR for a varmint shooting trip... Cool.
 
Sako came out with the quad that had 4 interchangeable barrels and the stock did not have to be removed. The barrels did not lose zero with a barrel that was removed then re installed. Also burris made a quad scope with 4 adjustable zero bands on the turrets. My complete hunter set came in a suitcase with a sling allen wrench for takedown 4 barrels and the complete receiver stock assembly. the case allowed room for scope as well. That is the ultimate set-up. Not needed but very versitile for varmint hunting. .22wmr,.22lr,.17hmr,.17mach2
 
A buddy of mine bought one of those combo 17 HMR and 22 LR CZ 455's and is quite pleased with it, it is definitely a great idea.
