Does anyone else get funky chronograph readings over snow? All white today with temps in the 20’s. I was testing a new Creedmoor build, my go to with Re17 and Nosler CC’s were fairly consistent. 2nd time out. They track well with published data. Also loaded some 143 ELDX for the 1st time. Had a couple up in the 2900 area which is way hot, then 3 around 2750-ish which is OK for my 25” barrel. Then I tried 160 gr Woodleigh PP, like 2700 with a mild, starting load of W760. Way too hot. I gave up and went home.
All primers look good, no excessive flattening or craters...not the best indicator but I don’t have a pressure trace.
Very frustrating.
