My sauer has the warne two piece bases and warne rings. Mine is synthetic and in 9.3x62 and a 2-7 leupold it is pretty light, and some stout recoil. I’ve always had good luck with warne on heavy kicking rifles. I’m not sure about the sauer 101, but the 100xt uses any 2 piece bases for a model 700.
