I notice that the Nosler online site re reloading data covers the 22 Hornet, the .223 and other .224 bullets, but nothing for the 22-250. Perhaps I'm overlooking the obvious. At any rate, can someone make some suggestions on reloading the 50 gr BT in 22-250? I use a lot of Varget, as well as Vitavouri N140. Many thanks. George

Try checking the Hodgdon site. http://data.hodgdon.com/main_menu.asp

Use the Varget data for the proper wgt of bullet starting at the lower listed charge and work up.
Nosler has data in their manuals for the 22-250 but I think they only offer limited newer data on their web site, as they prefer one buys their book to help off set the cost of developing the data. The data shown there seems to be developed since the last manual (#5) was published.

Finally someone that uses Viht too.
Anyway.....I've shot a lot of 40gn & 50gn-ers and have settled on the 55grn Blitz-Kings. For me, they seem to be more consistent on the end result. ( B-tips shot good groups too )
36gr's Vight N-140
CCI BR-2 Primers
55gn B-king
If you don't mind the gore, on the hunting forum, i think it's...we took two.. or something as such, there is a pic of a head shot yote.

I'm using 36.0 grs Varget with the 50 gr BT, Fed GM210M primer in a W-W case in my 700 VLS. MV is 3750 fps and accuracy is in the .5's.
