It is increasingly difficult not to conclude that Democrats, especially when they have drunk the water of the Potomac, are evil. It is evident that the leadership is petty and spiteful and anything but patriotic. There was a day, I'm old enough to remember, when Democrats were moderate, patriotic, and considerate of those who paid the bills. If a few get slapped down hard enough, perhaps we will again see Democrats in the mold of another era.
