Does anyone have a E.R. Shaw Mark VII custom rifle?

Good question, I have been wondering about one of those. That or calling Savage Custom Shop up.

I would like a Savage that is not usual. :lol:

Me too, I would like that new Sav. fluted barrel Tactical they have in 300WM & 25-06, but in a 27-28" 264WM.

I talked to E.R. Shaw quite a bit about building a stainless synthetic rifle in .338-06. Their price was real reasonable however I didn't like that they required 100% payment up front and 8-12 months was the lead time on the rifle. My feelings on that was if I pay you to build a rifle I don't want to pay everything up front a 50% deposit would have been reasonable.

My buddy built a 260 Remington. That barrel was as good as a tomato stake. He sent it back they re-barreled it and now it shoots a mediocre (for a custom barrel) 1" .
