E-TIP bullets

So where, before hunting season, are the E-TIP bullets???
I'm ready to load and go but nothing has been forthcomming!
Especially the .416's.

They will be out this fall in 30 caliber 180 grain. Winchester will be releasing their ammunition featuring them first. If you want to read more information or see actual bullet field testing, Shooting Times has a great article this month on the Winchester ammunition.

I should of expected Winchester would want to debut the new bullets.
Next year I'll try them.

John Barsness also gives them high ratings in his article in Rifle Magazine. The article is about an African shoot with over 180 animals taken.

Also one of the two most popular bullets by the hunters were Accubonds.

Yes, I read the article. I also saw the DEEP cavity for expansion. Was that a change from the original design? Some have expressed concerns that the bullet may not expand at long range. What is the Minimum Vel. for expansion?
 
The cavity has always been a part of the design, no change there. Minimum impact velocity is 1800 fps, same as AccuBond.
