Hello,
I am new here and glad I am here. I have searched around and just need a bit of help. I have ETIP 150 GR and 180 GR.

The case is 30-06

If the folks that have been reloading could be so kind to post there loading data so I can start working up my own loads it would be great.

Thank you all for your help,
Fritz

Welcome to the forum.

E-Tip loading is a little tricky. Do you have a current Nosler manual as that is the best source of info for loading E-Tips per Nosler's reccomendation that should have been in the box with your bullets.

Also, are you new to hand loading as some answers may be for the experienced hand loader.

I do not have the current book from Nosler. The book I do have does not have anything listed for the ETIP.
As for reloading I am kinda new however my roomate has done it since the 60's.

Is your manual a Nosler manual? Did you get a slip of paper with your bullets?

E-Tips are too new to be in any published manuals. Nosler states that the E-Tips can use Nosler reloading info with the following criteria, use the listed lowest charge to start with and the middle/medium listed charge is to be considered the MAX for E-tips. This is explained on the slip of paper with your bullets.

Do a search as several of us have posted our results with E-Tips. I specifically had good results with the 180ET from my 30-06. I had use info from Hodgdon's online data base and some extremely careful experimenting which I don't recommend a begginer try.

Thank you.

I got the paper in the box. I have Nosler 6 loading book. I will do more searching for data.

As you are considering what to work up for these E-Tips, think about using a fairly slow powder (in a relative sense) and seat the bullets deeper than you would a lead core bullet. People have had success with anything from .050-.100" off the lands, and in some cases even more.

I must be the odd-ball then as my best was a COL of 3.39", which I believe is about .020 to .025 from the lands of my 06.

seating Out as far as possible is working for me. with the Etip. every rifle is different

Good to know there are other options. My experience is not exhaustive, as it is (so far) only in two rifles.

My the 130ET load for my 270WSM is seated closer to the lands than my 140AB load, ableit .005". (2.88" vs 2.875")
