Got up this morning and he was waiting for me on my property.

Anyway, 30 seconds later and one 410 3" mag #4 shot shell at 30 yards away.........
My boy is holding "him'.

I do not know! You got a recipe for JACK?

I've eaten Jackrabbit before. It was acutally really good. Cooked in a pressure cooker. Tasted like a really good pot roast.

Nope, No thanks , I'll pass on the Jack too.....especially one that hasn't changed color yet? Sure he was stickin out like a sore thumb this morning.
Congrats none the less !!

Too bad I could not accuboond him.

Drink the aforementioned concoction while throwing the Jack to the yotes!

Have always wondered what is wrong with jacks? Out here we will eat the daylights out of some fried cottontail.

Hey! Guess what?
I met a guy when I was elk hunting in Idaho who offered me some jerkey. It was really tastey and, you guessed it, it was jackrabbit. It would have gone good with the other "JACK"
Good Hunting
Elkhunt

At least it was not coyote! :x

actually jacks are pretty good if slow cooked. They can be tough if fried. Also try not to shoot the ones living in heavy sage as they can be strong tasting.
