Ella gets her pig

Thanks for posting that Guy. Ella was crushed between two trucks 5 years ago. The impact was so great that it left her imprint in the bed of one of the trucks. She was in Vanderbilt ICU for months followed by rehab in Atlanta. The doctors that treated her said she would be a vegitable. They began to put up signs all over Lincoln Co that simply said pray for Ella. It brought the whole community together. I have known her ever since she came into the world. It tore our hearts out to see her in the shape she was in. But the whole time prayers were headed to One that had the last word. Miraculously with a huge part of her brain destroyed she ragained everthing but her sight. She has very limited sight. She can see detail at just under 12". She sees shadows and uses them to navigate. She wanted to hunt just like her dad so we have that worked out. I was blessed to hold her and guide her aim on her first deer. Her uncle did the same on her deer last year. Her father was unable to be there for either of those events. Thankfully he was able to be with her for her first pig. We are all so proud of her and so thankful that the lord has blessed us through her.

Very moving story. What an inspiring young lady. Congratulations to each of you who united to ensure that she exhibits such grit to succeed.

What a great testimony showing the power of prayer. A special thanks to her dad & the others involved in making such great memories for a very special young lady.
Thank you so much for sharing :).

Blessings,
Dan

Will find it if I can and post the links, but check out Keith Warrens web site or Google the high road. He has a new video on there of a guy who uses a laser sight on a crossbow to take a hog. Very cool. Also check and see if there is still an episode titled helluva hunt on there. I was along back in 2006 when two guys with vision loss took antelope with an adapted scope mount. Come to think of it she would be a wonderful cantidate for that hunt. PM me if you are interested. Or google helluva hunt for the application.

That is just awesome.
Thanks Roy and Guy!
