We know the NSA has been collecting extensive phone and email data on all law-abiding Americans for a long time. We know that shopping habits and all other online activity has been collected for all law-abiding Americans. I learned yesterday that vehicle license plate data has been collected for quite some time, and that that program is expanding. Cameras that operate with license number recognition software are being used to monitor vehicle activity. They now know where you go, when you go and how often you go. And, they're trying to pave the way for drones over all of America...

I can't help wondering how successful Ben Franklin, Thomas Jefferson and George Washington et. al. would have been if the British had this sort of capability.... BT

It is right to wonder, BT. I am increasingly concerned that liberty is a concept that has been long forgotten in the United States today.

Yup and now they are tracking our license plates

Obama has passed a law recently allowing the White House to legally disseminate disinformation through the news media legally. This means that the government can legally disinform us about any topic or project, or law that they are working on and flat out mislead and lie the American people to cover their trail. Both for use as a cover up or releasing misinformation to confuse the citizens of this country. From now on any information from government sources or the mainstream media can be a flat out lie to confuse and misinform the American people. Sounds to me like Rumania or Red China!

The IRS scandal proved that government will illegally use - has used confidential information to the detriment of certain groups, political opponents and even individual citizens. There is no assurance that the NSA data and license plate tracking data won't be as well.

I have received an e-mail from AT&T, informing me that AT&T now has the ability , thru my tablet/phone/GPS to alert stores that are near my travels that I "am nearby" and those stores can e-mail me adds of current sales.

I have been in touch with my AT&T provider.

Some of these newer tools are creating more trouble than they are worth.
