Factory load data request???

I was just wondering if anyone knows how one would go about finding out what powder and how much powder for a factory load? Do the manufacturers supply someone with that info if requested? I can't find any info on the box, and I am curious only because I was inpressed with the groups from some factory load.

Most don't I'm pretty sure. I think Hornady does on some, such as the 6.5 Creedmoor

If they don't supply the consumer with it how does one know what is in it? I would think that liability would become a factor. Would it not?

Factory ammunition uses non-canister powder in most instances. In other words, it is unavailable for hand loaders.

I think they test it, keep it within SAAMI specs and call it a day. I would imagine they buy powder by the ton and change it enough from year to year to never be able to keep up with the change.. They'd have to change their packaging too often.
