Just loaded up some 165s and MR2000 to try in the M88 with a 22" barrel to test once we get temperatures in the positives. Been a deep freeze up here lately, the highs getting in the mid single digits for the better part of a week now. Will report back once I see how it does.

Please let me/us know how you like that combination of the MR2000 and 165gr. bullets. I'm looking to try a little something different in my Tikka T3 (current load 150gr. TTSX w/Varget) and you're thinking along my lines. Keep us posted! Thank you.

I actually just took this out yesterday in the low 40s. It was windy and had to walk there so no chrono. I only fired one three shot group of Hornady Interlock and Speer Hot Cor, everything else the same. I think with the Speer it will work and work well. It never gets old though, the Interlock shot about 10" across and the Hot Cor shot about two inches. Apparently flat base is the way to go with this rifle. Shots 1 and 3 were about half an inch apart, so I dunno if I threw number 2 or that's where it wanted to go. The Interlock will probably be taken apart, but those Hot Cor definitely showed promise. Recoil impulse was definitely different between the two. The Speer seemed a bit sharper.
