I have mentored my daughter and my girlfriend for shooting and hunting. It's very rewarding to see the ladies enjoying the great outdoors.

My wife Kelli, and my oldest daughter both hunt and have both ben very successful at it.

I had a cute incident when Moose hunting 2 weeks ago as I went for a walk and come up on 2 other hunters a dad & his daughter who looked to be about 15 or 16. In Saskatchewan we have to wear colours and I was wearing red as was the dad and his daughter was wear a Tony the Tiger set of coveralls in blaze orange and black :shock:.
My daughter has hunted with me since she was 6 years old and use to carry a pop gun, she still walks with us but doesn't pull the trigger .
It is so good to see more and more ladies taking up the sport.

We have two young women who came to our February Cougar hunting camp. They go out and call cats better than most of the men. Just do not tell our wives about these excellent women hunters camping out with us old men.
