Thinking however.....( as I always am to be just a little different )... umm...
neck the ole 7mag down to 6.5 ??

Then it become bullet selection.... as you know, awesome choices staying with what you have in the .284/s

I think it's been done Power....it's called a .264 Win mag. Another great gun....

No shortage of bullets in .264 cal either from Sierras 85 gr to Hornadies 160. Some are real doozies as far as BC and reported accuracy.
