If you are just getting into reloading (my brother has been helping me out up until now) what would be your first manual? I'm leaning toward the Sierra manual because it has the 25.06 AI listed, but I would appreciate some feedback fro more seasoned reloaders.

Forest,

Just as well buy em all now and get it over as you will eventually will. One can never have enough reference data.

With that said, I continually reference my Nosler, Sierra, Hodgdon, & Speer the most.

I dont suggest basing your first book on the fact it has the 25-06 AI in it, rather base it on the components used that reflect your preferred components.

Again, just go buy em all.... You will anyways...

I find Sierra tends to list weaker loads than other manuals with certain calibers (243 win specifically). For starting out you can get a spiral reloading book that shows data taken from several manuals that will cover one caliber specifically. Just compensate % over max for AI but definitely work up.
