Thanks for posting the pics of your gun w/ the new stock. Really like that pattern and nutmeg coloring. The platinum model is exactly what I was thinking of using for one of my guns. Did you stick with the Boyd's recoil pad or upgrade to a premium pad? They had a pretty reasonable price for the upgraded pad, so that's what I was thinking of doing, even for my .308.

I went with the upgrade pad and it's a pacmyher decelerator.

The Decelerator is a good pad, Rodger. I have that pad on a few of my rifles.
