It is my understanding that the new Nosler Rifle is a 280AI. It is also my understanding that Nosler will legitimize it with SAAMI. I have heard that it has been sent to SAAMI for this process. As you can see, Noslers silence is deafining!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! capt david

The May issue of the American Hunter says noslers custom model 48 is chambered in .270 wsm, page 52. Maybe next year for your .280AI.

They mean the new custom rifle, like last years 300 WSM limited edition custom rifle and this years (2006) is going to be in 280 AI for sure.

The Nosler Custom Rifle for 2006 is chambered for the 280AI. The model 48 rifle is chambered in 270 WSM to start. Nothing has been finalized with SAAMI at the present time.

The 06 Custom rifle is chambered in the .280 akley. Limited to 500 rifles. The M48-06 is chambered to the 270 wsm and is avail indefinately. The 270 is a tack driver shootin sub half inch consistantly with the 140 gr AccuBond.

I stand corrected. The .280 akley brass might not be avail because Ive not seen the 300 or the 270 custom brass. All Noslers current rifles.
