A true assessment of a great, though neglected cartridge.

My father bought me one of those at age 12. I carried it for 10 years or so until I had him build me a 35 Whelen. Max powder load behind a 250 grain bullet will sure let you know it is there.

Great little rifle and in 350 Remington magnum that thing I bet bites on both ends! My father purchased this Remington 600 Centennial in a little country store near the Beartooth Mountains in Montana in about 1968 for $99.00 brand new. It was built in 1964 to commerate the 100th anniversary of the Montana Territory and 75th anniversary of statehood. I think there were 1050 of the Centennial models made. It became my first big game rifle and has killed a lot of antelope and deer. It belongs to my son and the pictures are his first years hunting when he turned 12. Looks like it still works. It still has the original K4 Weaver scope we put on it in 1972. It is chambered in 6mm Remington no less!

I've got one but in the 6.5 Rem Mag. I picked it up a couple of years ago and have not shot it yet.

You really need to shoot that thing and go hunt with it. Be quite a killer in the 6.5 Rem Mag. They do bark with those short barrels.

I'm actually selling this one for a friend but I used to have a 673 Guide in 6.5mm Rem Mag. Only shot 1 buck with it but it pole axed him with a 130 gr AB.
As for the M600 350 Rem Mag, I'd be all over it if I didn't already have a M700 Classic 35 Whelen.
I have a lot of history with that one that dates back to 1988.
