For sale: Springfield 1896 carbine chambered in .30 U.S.A. (.30-40 Krag).
Missing the handguard that goes on top of the barrel, just forward of the breech. Light pitting over most of the patina metal, virtually no bluing left anywhere. Stock is worn but not cracked or repaired. Magazine, cutoff, safety, buttplate trapdoor, etc. all work fine. Comes with almost a full box of 220 grain Hornady handloads.
