I think Hornady puts the recipe on the box. At least that was the original packaging.

My 6.5 CM loves the 129gn SST with RL-17. Ditto for the 130gn Swift Scirocco II and the 140gn SST with Superformance. All of them are .5 or 1 grain from a max load, seated to the COL specs of the bullet makers. Maybe I have a rifle that is forgiving in that sense since these are sub-MOA.

I used the 140g Nosler Ballistic Tips and the 140 SSTs with H-4350 and got so-so groups before lightening the trigger. Those loads would likely do better but I haven't checked it.

A great advantage of the 129 SSTs is they are plentiful and cost half the price of the Scirocco's. In the picture the 6.5 CM group from 600 yards is in the lower right corner. Not bad for the first four shots!

Very Nice Horsethief. Which Creedmoor do you have?

Paul: mine is a FN Mexican Mauser with a 24" ER Shaw barrel. Aside from changing the trigger, it is just like it was when the gunsmith put it together. The Boyds laminate stock makes the rifle heavier than I thought it would be but with the accuracy I'm getting it would be dumb to complain.

I also picked one of these Ruger American Predators up recently. I'm pretty happy with it so far. I've used RL17, Ramshot Big Game, and Hodgdon H414 with the 129 ABLR and 130 AB. Here is a target with 10 shots each. I removed the target and flipped it before shooting the bottom group.
