Those of you who have heard me complain about this before, know how I feel about the "slugs only area's where I have been hunting for the last 30+ years. Interesting that in this news story they do not describe it as a "safety factor". FINALLY.... Still I have no faith in St Paul. Rumor has it this billl has been on the docket for years with no action. Leaving it up to the counties to decide seems logical but problematic....

Fingers crossed that MN joins the ranks of other states allowing center fire rifles across the state.
MI made the move a few years back allowing straight walled cartridges not exceeding 1.800" like 350 Legend and 450 Bushmaster.

Yup, thats good for you guys. The news story made no mention of straight wall cartridges. As you know there isnt a whiskers worth of difference between the 350 Legend and the good ole 30-30. Hopefully they wont put those kind of restrictions on it.... we shall see.
