What seating dies do you more experienced reloaders like to use to ensure good bullet alignment in the case? I am currently using standard RCBS dies but I suspect there may be better seating dies available.
I think the Forster competition and Redding competition seaters are the best available. They both seat bullets as straight or straighter than a Wilson inline seater.
If money is tight, go with the Forster. It does as good a job as the Redding, but for less money. I do prefer the Redding dial, but that's only my preference.
I've used Forster, Redding, RCBS, Lyman, Lee, Hornady and CH/4D dies. I've made accurate ammo in a variety of cartridges with each of these. I prefer Forster dies for my own rifles and Redding is situation in a close second. I'm more convinced that it is a matter of care on the setup and consistency in loading that determines ammunition accuracy, however.
