I actually got it during JD's hunt so I have been too busy to post on it.

It is truly a very handsome rifle. Especially the stock, it is gorgeous in my opinion.
I will be taking some pictures (better pictures) of it soon enough. I did decide to try the 300 Barnes X at about 3000 to 3150 fps and see if I can get them to shoot. The only other bullets that enthuse me is the 330 GS HV (and I will be waiting from GS to email me that they are in production here in Indiana) and the 350 TTSX.... maybe.

If it is a shooter then I will definitely refinish the stock because i am wayyyyyyyyyy toooooooo anal to have dings on it.
I wish I weren't but I am.
Just ask JD what all my rifles look like!

The wood appears to have some character to it. I do enjoy a good wood stock.

Fotis,

It is an awesome rifle!
Glad I was with you when you got it.

There is no "think" about it, I know you do.

OK I will start looking for a 416! Jeez!

All I need is an OK from Jim.

300 TSX's at 2900 fps are nice!
