Grizzly down....and out

Just got home from a quick one day hunt. Client got this 8'4"
Grizzly at 110 yards. 340 wbthy and a few brushy backup shots from my 416 ruger convinced him it was over. This was of those stubborn ones. But nothing my havalon knife couldn't handle.

Our season here is open all year. But kinda tough to hunt them when they are buried underground....

It's mostly interior Alaska for these bears. The client was shooting a 250tsx.

That's a beautiful big bear. What was the age estimate?

We didn't get a estimate, my ball park guess was around 10, had some wear on his teeth.
