I got a couple of questions about these so in order not to hijack Mike's post I decided to start a new thread.

Excellent!!!!!

and in a couple of months at the most they will be producing them in Indiana! Anthony Married Gina (owner;s daugther--Gerard Schultz)
and they setup home and shop in Indiana.

Every bullet is held to sub 5 micron consistency!

They made a ultra-high BC lathe-turned solid bullet for long-range shooting 50 BMG, has a 1.85 G1-model Ballistic Coefficient. Supersonic at 40000 meters.

Here is Gina and Anthony. I talk to them all the time.

Fotios,
Interesting load.
Man, that thing is moving.
Interesting info on the continuing barrel life test also.

By the way, I noticed you mentioned a new "mystery" rifle in the works.
Have anything to do with these guys?
Dewey

No but that is an excellent idea.

Thank you!

Fotis,
Whoops.
Didn't mean to create a need.
Although on reflection, it seems that occurs frequently here.

Yup; pretty much.

Fotis

Aleena has been singing their praises ever since I have know her. She is a big supporter of their products and Woodleigh. When I mentioned the cost of their bullets, she said,"it is the cheapest part of the hunt--dont be penny wise and pound foolish when your on a hunt of a lifetime"

I totally agree with her.

But now that they will be produced and available in the USA meaning cheaper bullet and faster , it will make them a very viable option.

Aleena is spot on.
Its the very reason I started using PT's back in 1982.

Fotis,
I have been telling everyone that would listen about GSC for 20 years. We feel for medium size game at longer ranges, they are one of the best bullets on the market.

We still prefer Woodleigh for thick skinned animals in close quarters. We tried Rhino, but will stay with Woodleigh.

We also like North Fork and Swift A-frames, but not the Scirocco

Lets not forget that Nosler served us well in Asia

Fotis, as an aside, Lutz Mueller also makes bullets similar to GSC. I understand that they perform well. however for personal reasons, which we will not discuss on an open forum, we have not and will not use them.

G'Day Ladies and Fella's,

It was only recently, that I found out that a mate of mine (Steve H), is the agent for GS-C bullets here in Australia.
We were talking about these bullets, his Bi-Pod and HBN bullet/barrel treatment.
I hope to get some GS-C bullets in the new year, and give them a try in a couple of rifles (at least, 6.5 x 47 Lapua, .308Win and .338Lap Mag).
They have a lot going for them!

Doh!

Neither will I all I can say is........

Guess who taught him everything?

As Charlie is aware some took exception to my post above to Fotis, stating that all the bullets we are recommending are elitist bullets and that there are many other bullets that will perform well.

So let me correct my first post by saying the bullets listed in my prior post are bullets we prefer and IMHO are good bullets and they have worked well for us. but you are correct, they are not the only bullets on the market.

Federal, Barnes, Remington, Hornady, Sierra, Speer, Winchester, Norma, S & B, RWS, Kynoch. we liked two of the three A Square bullet line, has anybody picked that line up and are making them now ?. All these companies/bullets, and MORE, have people who like their products and they work well for them and I am not and did not mean to infer otherwise.

I did mention Nosler in my first post, as a bullet that has worked well for us. So is everyone on this forum that uses Nosler, an elitist also or just me. The last sentence is probably uncalled for and when I am not so tired and irritated, I will probably delete it.

Please ignore the "elitist bullets" author.

edit - I apologize for the name calling. It just puts me in the same boat as whomever is sending AH PM's disparaging her. This forum doesn't deserve it either so I retract my statement.

What an individual chooses as a bullet is really of no concern to anyone else. If someone looked at my reloading supplies, they would quickly conclude that I am elitist--and I would concur. So what? As has already been stated, the bullet is the cheapest part of the hunt, and I will ensure that I'm using the best bullet possible to bring my hunt to a successful conclusion. GS Custom bullets are superb bullets that work extremely well. Once they are available with a steady supply in North America, I have no doubt that I will again use a few of them.

Aleena, you hunt game that I can only dream of. You have the cred with me for the days, months and years that you and Jerry have been "living the life" of big game hunting world wide. I do not know any other women personally who own and shoot a .416 Rigby as their preferred game gun and I respect that greatly, both for the time it takes to master, and for the experience that you have with it hunting successfully all over the world.

I take very seriously your comments on guns and bullets as being based on solid big game experience. Believe me when I say there is no such thing as an "elitist bullet" in the field when it comes to hunting any worthy game. If you tell me a bullet is good on game, I believe you implicitly.

I am an elistist as well, no doubt, and proud of it! That I why I am on this forum. I have used Nosler Partition (and other premium) bullets for nearly 50 years and although I hunt mostly deer and elk, I want that bullet to do what it was designed for and I want to trust what will happen everytime that I pull the trigger.
