Jim, Joel has passed me that link before, but I never realized if you buy three boxes of bullets, he cuts a decent discount. Seems like he has alot of good stuff and an awesome selection of Nosler stuff. Might have to switch over to them! Seem like a great company. Scotty

Maybe I ought to buy some more bullets as someone on another thread told me I didn't have enough.

You should get a 45-70, Rich! NOW, those are some fun bullets to plunk downrange! Plus, I could follow your lead on where you find bullets! Scotty

+1 Rich, you NEED a Marlin 1895 45-70 to round out your collection. The 45-70 can be loaded from mild to wild.

The gunstop is "just across town" for me.(30 miles) I havent needed anything in a while but they are the BEST shop here in the cities. The guy you talk to when you ask for "reloading" (cant recll his name) knows everything. I used to go in there and drool over a pre-64 Win. in 250-3000 Sav that Howard had in his personal collection of pre 64 model 70's. Years ago it was a truly great gun shop. Always an old hunting dog sitting around and 2-3 regulars discussing the merrits of this or that or the latest gun on the rack. Tuesday nights was pizza night and they were open later. There was fiidge in the corner with a cool whip tub on it where you left your change for the pop in the frig. The place was so packed with EVERYTHING if you got 3 guys in there you could barely turn around. Loads of great guns and all kinds of reloading stuff. It makes the reloading section at Cabella look like a joke. The shop was eventually broken into (through the wall of the laundry next door) and Howard passed away a few years ago.
However, the reloading "Guru" is still there, in a new bigger store with a little less "ambiance" but it is still the place to go for reloading. Great people, very knowlegable..... My .02 CL

John is the proprietor of the reloading side of the Gun Stop now. I have been doing business with him for over 25 years going back to when he was with another reloading shop in Hopkins called AmmoCraft. Great guy, no BS and really knows what he is talking about. How many shops can you walk into and find a set of Redding 6.5/300WSM dies on the shelf for sale? He only carries one at a time, but knows there are nuts like me out there that will buy them. I will be stopping by to see him tomorrow to stock up on some bullets before the price increases take effect that seem to be coming!

Jim- glad that worked for you. After meeting you, I can say he is a guy you could spend an afternoon with and never run out of things to talk about. Rod (Nodak the mad man) used to go there when he lived in the Mpls area as well.
